She has also served as Dean of Technology and Trades at Camosun College in British Columbia - the first female Dean of Technology in BC. Pat believes athletes are giving away their power and sabotaging their experiences! Furthermore, she feels strongly that the athletic world is on the verge of self-destruction. The innocence, the joy, the freedom once found in physical activity is quickly being extinguished by frustration, anger, aggression, control, fear, need to dominate and often a desire to injure. As an elite athlete and international coach Pat was successful because of her unconscious connection with the intuitive energy of her soul. She "just did it" and success followed. As a member of the United States and Canadian Softball Halls of Fame and a former professional coach, Pat has spent the past 20 years trying to understand the keys to athletic success. Pat has recently published two books, Once Upon A Locker Room and Competing From The Heart. She hopes that these books will be used as vehicles, to support her desire for change and understanding in the world of sport. To learn more about Pat, visit http://www.soulsports.ca/
